Playdough recipe

Playdough can provide a tactile learning experience which can stimulate a child’s imagination and encourage communication.

1 cup of plain flour

1 cup of water

1 tablespoon of oil

2 teaspoons of cream of tartar

half a cup of salt

food colouring (optional)

Saucepan method: Place all ingredients in a saucepan and stir over a low heat until the mixture forms a stiff dough. Be careful when removing from the saucepan as it may be hot. The dough can be stored in a plastic container or plastic bag
